Just in time for Christmas...

Ho ho ho...

Got myself a Christmas present this year by getting rid of the "5" on the 450D. The "5" indicates newer model but without the "5" is it faster, bigger, heavier and of course looks more like a semi pro. :)

It may be 1 year old but it is still a damn good DSLR by today standard. It now has bigger bro, the 50D, with Digic 4, 920k 3" LCD, 15 MP and supports UDMA CF card but if you do not print more than an A4 size photo and doesn't mind the 920k LCD, then go for the 40D. It's worth it.. simply because it is about RM1000 cheaper.

Canon Speedlight 430EX II & diffuser

Bought myself a speedlight few days before our trip to Cameron Highlands Fraser Hill (due to no rooms available at CH). Managed to try out this speedlight in real outdoor and the result is superb. This is a great ext flash for beginners or for those with tight budget.
* this can be used a slave in future should u decided to get the 580EX II as master for creative lighting shots.
