How tall can a young bamboo grow?
Never measure it... but I think it's around 15ft. That's within less than 2 weeks time. The lower bamboo (with leaves) are about 1 ft taller than me.

Some of the funniest...
Two men are approaching each other on a sidewalk. Both are dragging their right foot as the walk. As they meet, one man looks at the other knowingly, points at his foot and says, "Vietnam, 1969."
The other hooks his thumb behind him says, "Dog shit, 20 feet back."
Fu, Bu and Chu immigrated to the USA from China. They decided to become American citizens, and "Americanize" their names.
Bu, called himself "Buck"
Chu called himself "Chuck"
Fu decided to return to China.
A journalist had done a story on gender roles in Kuwait several years before the Gulf War, and she noted then that women customarily walked about 10 feet behind their husbands.
She returned to Kuwait recently and observed that the men now walked several yards behind their wives.
She approached one of the women for an explanation. "This is marvelous,"said the journalist. "What enabled women here to achieve this reversal of roles?"
Replied the Kuwaiti woman: "Land mines."
Heroes \hee'-rhos\: What a guy in a boat does.
I bought a dog the other day...I named him Stay. It's fun to call him..."Come here, Stay! Come here, Stay!" He went insane. Now he just ignores me and keeps typing.
I'm still trying to figure out why kamikaze pilots wore helmets.
Did you ever notice when you blow in a dog's face he gets mad at you? But when you take him in a car he sticks his head out the window.
You have to stay in shape. My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where she is.
The reason most people play golf is to wear clothes they would not be caught dead in otherwise.
Anytime four New Yorkers get into a cab together without arguing, a bank robbery has just taken place.
A lady came up to me on the street and pointed at my suede jacket. You know a cow was murdered for that jacket'? She sneered. I replied in a psychotic tone, "I didn't know there were any witnesses. Now I'll have to kill you too!"
The Judge said to the defendant. "I thought I told you I never wanted to see you in here again."
"Your Honor," the criminal said, "that's what I tried to tell the police, but they wouldn't listen."
A young woman was pulled over for speeding. As the motorcycle officer walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, "I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the Highway Patrolmen's Ball."
He replied, "Highway patrolmen don't have balls."
There was a moment of silence while she smiled, and he realized what he'd just said. He then closed his book, got back on his motorcycle and left.
A man driving on the highway is pulled up by a police officer on a bike. The officer says, "Pull over", and the driver pulls over to the side of the road.
He says, "I'm sorry, officer, was I speeding?".
The police officer says, "No, mate, but your wife fell out of the car a mile back."
The man replies, "Oh, that explains it. I thought I was going deaf."
A lawyer was on vacation in a small farming town. While walking through the streets, a car was involved in an accident. As expected a large crowd gathered. Going by instinct, the lawyer was eager to get to the injured, but he couldn't get near the car. Being a clever sort, he started shouting loudly, "Let me through! Let me through! I am the son of the victim."
The crowd made way for him. Lying in front of the car was a donkey.
A bus load of lawyers were driving down a country road when all of a sudden the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree in an old farmer's field. The old farmer after seeing what happened went over to investigate. He then proceeded to dig a hole and bury the lawyers.
A few days later, the local sheriff came out, saw the crashed bus, and then asked the old farmer, "Were they all dead?"
The old farmer replied, "Well, some of them said they weren't, but you know how them lawyers lie."

Hello... I'm calling from... bla bla bla
What a strange incident today. In 8 hours, there are 2 headhunters and 2 companies called me up for interview. I know I did apply online for the past 2 months cause that's when we got official memo on closure of the current company I'm working for. For the past 1 and 1/2 months I was worried sick about getting a new job and finally on last Monday, I was offered a job transferred to 2 place in this multinational company. Only only after that all these calls keep coming in. Why can't they called me earlier? Anyway, I'm just happy to be given 2 choices... and of course I chose the better one. By the way, the past 2 months at work was fun & creative. We get to finish up on our projects which was pending since the day we started working. Here's some photo of my last few projects...
Nope.. not working on it, but playing it for the highest score. :) Life is GOOD

Drink Drank Drunk
Yea, last night went drinking with my fiancée and her two friends. It was all fun till someone got drunk. :-)
Went to Q Bar @ Sunway, as usual the place is packed with highly active hormones people, mostly students.
Just like most patrons, we stayed till they close. We don't call it clubbing if u leave even just a minute earlier. Hahaha. It's mostly club music with occasional techno/trance/feng-tau/whatever thrown into it. After that I don't remember much... after all, it's a drink drank drunk nite. Cheers!

Decision, decision, decision...
Too many choices to decide... any opinion? Note: all these models have Wifi built-in and running WM5.
O2 Atom (glossy finish which is fingerprint magnet)
O2 Atom Exec (this one has matte finish on external with faster proc and more memory)
Dopod 818 Pro (Atom public enemy no. 1 but with slower processor)
Dopod 838 (many review said its proc is too slow and memory too little)
Dopod 838 Pro (the faster version of 838, with 3G, 3.5G, Wifi)
Finally decided to get O2 Atom. A very neat piece of device. In fact I'm updating my blog right now via bluetooth connection from my pc, which is in another room. This is old skool. I know... but I could never do that with my O2 Mini.

New Pet
Recently I got very bored at home so I make a trip to Pets Wonderland and got myself 6 rabbits. As you can see it in here...very cute, right? They basically loves to follow the cursor but somehow they're only allowed to wonder around within the top page of this blog. Don't want them to get lost now, do we?
updated: decided not to let my pet roam freely on the web anymore. They tends to cause trouble for certain people. Hey, after all they're rabbit :)

Tsunami again ???
Funny... this morning I got this SMS from a production manager,
"Plz fwd dis msg : indonesia was havin tsunami juz now. Dont go to the beach or sea side. It maybe reach M'sia about 10pm onward."
I check almost every website on the net but I couldn't find a single warning or news regarding this tsunami. But the strange part is, whatever this guy say.. it will eventually turns out to be true. However I have no worries. I'm right in the middle of a solid piece of land, drinking my special brew while busying punching the keys on this crappy piece of kb with my fingers. Oh yea, I'm listening to this Cafe Del Mar Mix Edition 2006 which I downloaded from the net. Pretty cool clubbing song in here.
Whatever it is, I wish life would be a lot easier than now. Why money doesn't drop from the sky? Why it doesn't rain oil? Why salmon doesn't just drop from the sky during this "oil" rain? How many of you love salmon sashimi?
Hmm... SALMON SASHIMI

Best Friend.. Buddies.. whatever
Can opposite sex be best friends or buddies? Imagine doing things together... almost everything. Lunch, dinner, maybe even stay overnight. But of course as best friends or buddies... nothing unwanted will happen. Many people will not believe me if I say I have a female buddy, and to make it even more unbelievable, I met her at BarFlam, Bangsar. Now, I know most of you will think if two people from opposite sex met at places like this will definitely end up with "something", who would have thought it bring to life a wonderful friendship. We could talk about anything... everything. Of course, that was like 2 years ago.
How many of you actually know that PWC auditors are actually good social drinkers? Not many huh? Don't be fool by their looks. They can drink alright. And some of them are pretty enough to be stewardess. As for my buddy, she joined SIA about 1 year back and been flying around since. Heck, she even got married during one of her trip back to Malaysia. Congrats !!!
Anyway we got lots of things to catch up when she's back here for good by end of this month. One thing for sure, I sure look forward to the wedding dinner... those yummie shark fins soup, roasted crispy duck.. etc.

Sleepless Nite
It's not that I can't sleep, it's just that I don't see the point of me sleeping early since I do not have to work tomorrow... meaning I don't have to wake up early in the morning. Yes! no need to wake up at 6:45am. Right now it's 2:28am and I'm right in front of this marvellous screen, the LCD monitor. The same tech that stole the limelight from CRT business in the TV world. I heard this saying few times before,"There's a risk in every business" It was meant for employers due to the high risk of failure but it should also meant for employees since the whole workforce will be effected if the business fails. Don't you think so?

It's a cold day
Yes it is... i didn't see the sun today. There was haze all over everywhere I go. I couldn't have been affecting my mind, my judgement. No! It's gotta be something else. It seems like tolerence but is it? What kind of tolerence are we talking about? Relationship? Strange... Should a couple be tolerence of each other if they're already good enough to give and take? It's like he story of chicken and egg. Which comes first? What are the sacrifices does a couple have to go through to make a relationship works? Is it sacrifices for the future family the couple trying to build or is it for something else? What do we contribute to make the relationship better or what are the things we try to do to make everything perfect? It would be unfair for just a person to carry all the responsibility without the support of the other half. It is often misjudged as the stronger sex would have to carry all the responsibility by himself. In some cases, it would be herself. In a matter of give and take, it should be levelled out. No matter whatever the circumstances are, it should be 50/50, 40/60, 30/70 or even 20/80 but never 0/100. Whether it's good or bad... I'm probably talking crap here since I have too much to drink. I'll stop here for now.
